today we went to The Alamo in San Antonio. it was really educational, so that's always a plus. we spent, like, half the time in the gift shop, which is also a plus. i didn't get anything, but we did do some birthday gift shopping, so that is also a plus :)

after we left The Alamo, we were headed back home, but in the middle of going home, we turned and make our way back to Wichita Falls. (which is where we went to get the camper, the first time; the first one we decided not to buy... yeah, well, we changed our minds)
but on our way, of course we got hungry. so we stopped at dairy queen, and had ice cream for lunch.

so now, here we are, back in Wichita Falls, Texas. we go tomorrow to pick up our camper, and will hopefully be on the road going home by lunch. we'll see how that goes.
oh! i forgot:
i had the best waffle ever for breakfast this morning.
it was so beautiful. i didn't want to eat it.
