I finally got to go to Charleston. Goodness, it is beautiful! I could definitely live there. Savannah and Charleston are officially my favorite places. They are very similar, too.
We took a carriage tour around downtown. It was very interesting. If you ever get a chance to go, I would definitely recommend the carriage tour ;) There is so much history in Charleston that I didn't even know it had. This picture below is a picture of a street where all the houses are built slightly turned so that the breeze hits it just right. There is more to it, but I have no time to type it all ;) I thought it was so neat that they did it that way!
This house has some serious spikes around the gate. I don't know if you can tell... The sun was shining, obviously. No body is getting in there ;)
This is where we ate dinner. Very delicious.
The lighting was dark inside, so this is not a fabulous picture. But this is Ava and me checking out the menu :) Eggplant Parm sounds just about right!
I will be going back there for sure!
