South Dakota

We stayed in South Dakota for a long while. 10 days. Too long, I say ;)

This is pretty much what South Dakota looks like.

This is our friend Lemon Pepper. He lived with us for about a day at the campground in De Smet, SD

We went to church here at this cutie little white church. There were about 20 people that attended that Sunday. It was a little weird because it was a Lutheran church. But they tried to keep it nondenominational.

Reading :)

Wow. It was hot. And still no air condition... =/

We saw the Badlands. So random. Neat looking though.

Hehe, halo ;)

I thought he had a funny name ;)

Here is our other friend. We called her Carolina. See her face? Split in the exact middle! Beautiful :) She kept trying to eat the baby birds that were in a hole in a tree stump by our camper. We threw rocks toward her (we didn't hit her, of course!) so she wouldn't get them ;)

 Mount Rushmore

awesome tunnel. We had our bikes on top of the truck and the camper behind while we had to drive through here. Haha, we made it, of course ;)

Crazy Horse. Not finished yet.

Scary dark weather and pretty sunny weather all in one picture :D

Out to lunch with the Dennisons. We met these cool people through our friends, the Lucas'. I mentioned Bob Lucas in my Michigan post.

 Pretty waterfall at Spearfish Canyon

:)
