Ashland, Virginia

Hey! When we left Charleston 10 days ago, we headed toward Virginia. But we stopped in North Carolina to stay the night. While in NC, we did some fun things such as laundry, played checkers and slide down the slide on the playground.

  Then we went to Virginia. We got to Ashland, VA last Friday around 2 o'clock that afternoon. It was an adventure setting up when we got to the campground. First of all, it was kind of warm outside. Then, the camper started sliding when we were unhooking the truck. It was pretty crazy, but all is good. We got it under control ;)

 The week in VA was a relaxing one. We didn't do a whole lot. It was mostly and sit around, crochet, and read kind of week.

 We did play on the playground some, though. I couldn't exactly get up on that swing thingy. I used to could do it... hum. Ava had to help me. I must be getting old.

 On Monday night we went to a baseball game. It was fun. I didn't pay attention at all during the game. I had no idea what was going on. That's okay though, it was still great!

 Yay! Hobby Lobby!! Dad and I went shopping on Tuesday. We went several places. The mall, at&t, Hobby Lobby, Lifeway.... Fun stuff ;) I got some yarn for some projects I am currently working on.

Tuesday night was so great. Victoria came!! She drove all the way to Ashland, Virginia just to see me ;) Haha, not really, but she and her family stopped by for a visit. I love this sweet girl!

 

As I was looking for pictures to post on this post, I realized that we didn't take any pictures Wednesday, Thursday, nor Friday. We went to church Wednesday night. Thursday, we just sat around the campground... crocheting, reading, etc. And yesterday, we packed up and hit the road. Now we are in Maryland. You will get to read all about that next week :)
