extra long post

So.... I shall start off by saying that I failed my salad-a-day challenge. I lasted three days. Not that I didn't want the salads because I did. We just went through a period of time where we were between destinations and we didn't have the proper hook ups for the camper in order for me to use the processor and blender ;) I will be trying the challenge again soon.

Second, I am wayyyyy late on posting about Montana, Idaho, Washington, and Oregon. Wyoming was my last post, right? That was about a month ago. I will make it up right now:

Montana:

We spent 10 days here. 7 in Missoula, and 3 at the Glacier National Park. I must say that it was mostly a very relaxed stay. We helped out with a church at a festival in Stevensville, MT. We met some really cool people. I enjoyed hanging out with them. Other than that, we just hung out at the camper, went to Joann's Fabrics twice. Of course I sewed. I will share those things with you later on :) We also just so happen to have a cousin that lives in Missoula. So, we met up with them, had dinner, and walked around downtown Missoula. That was a very enjoyable time. I was excited to get to see Daniel and his wife, Miranda. We never see them, so it was a good catching up time :)

Glacier National Park was cool. We literally drove up a mountain and saw ice and snow. I won't take much time talking a lot about it. You will see scenery pictures below...

Haha:

 yes!! Mexican ;)

 Skyping with the Alexanders ;)

Totally great family Blue Grass band at the festival. Check them out: Trinity River Band

 Cousin Daniel and Miranda ;)

See all the ice? :)

Lovely way to END our stay in Montana ;P

Idaho:

As we were on our way to Washington state, we stopped by Idaho to stay a night. While there, we hung out at a Starbucks to use their wifi and went to Joann's Fabric to pick up a few things. That is pretty much all ;)

We finally saw a Moose!!!!!! :)

Washington:

Washington was fun. We hooked up with some people from South Carolina who moved to Seattle 2 weeks ago to start a new church there. They were really cool people. The second day we were there, we walked around downtown and had a really great time. That was Sunday. We served in the community by taking cookies and bottled water to all the near by businesses and shared about the new church. We worked at a community center pulling up weeds and making the yard look lovely. We, also, helped organize at a thrift store. It was a great week.

See the boat? That is how high up we were....

Walking around Seattle

 These guys were really good!

 Original Starbucks :D

Tree with an eye ;)

Oregon:

We traveled to Portland, OR to get our air condition fixed for the second time. It actually works now! :D yay!

Yeah! We found one! Wayy better than Taco Bell ;P

So, you are now caught up ;) Hope you enjoyed this post. It only took me 2 hours ;) hehe

  1. I loved this nice long blog post! After seeing your pics from your trip to Montana I don't think you will ever be in need of a desktop background again...goregeous!!! When you were in Washington did you by any chance visit the gum wall? If not google it, it's on my bucket list to visit! I think it's super neat that you and your family are getting a chance to help out at churches and stuff! Trips with a purpose in not only seeing God's creation but also ministering to those who need to understand His love! Can't wait to read more!

    Love ya girl! :D
